How much does an app or website cost in Morocco in 2026?

At VCTRUM, a marketing website starts at 3,500 MAD and an iOS and Android mobile app at 30,000 MAD; e-commerce, marketplaces, business platforms, AI and dedicated teams are quoted per project. The final price depends mostly on how many types of users you serve, payments, real-time features and integrations; below are the details, with timelines, running costs and a third-party market benchmark.

Why two “identical” projects don’t cost the same

“A rental app” can describe very different projects. Here’s what really drives a quote, illustrated with real projects.

The number of user types

Each audience has its own screens, rules and tests. Cardnd serves travelers and rental agencies, with a dedicated space for each.

Payments

Cash on delivery only, or cards via CMI, NAPS or Stripe, deposits, commissions and payouts. At Taouil Chocolatier, the deposit is recalculated server-side so the receipt always matches the order.

Real-time features

Live map tracking, dispatch, messaging, notifications: every live feature needs its own infrastructure and load testing.

Back office and integrations

Order management, roles and reporting; connections to your accounting, an ERP or existing APIs. Users never see it, and it’s often what a low quote leaves out.

Languages

Each language adds content and QA. Arabic needs a true right-to-left layout: Elite Dental Care runs in French, Arabic and English.

Design, content and app stores

Number of unique screens, clickable prototype, text and photos to produce, developer accounts and App Store and Google Play listings to prepare.

Cutting the budget without breaking the product

The right way to spend less is to build less at first, not to build it worse.

  • Start with an MVP: one type of customer, one city, only the features the product can’t work without
  • Launch with cash on delivery and add card payments later, as long as the architecture plans for it
  • Launch in one language and set up the structure for the next ones
  • Deliver in phases, most profitable phase first
  • Target iOS and Android with React Native and Expo: one codebase instead of two
  • Have text, photos and logins ready before kickoff: waiting stretches the schedule too

Don’t cut: testing, security and documentation. Skipping them gets paid for after launch.

Three ways to pay for a project

Fixed-price project

Scope, price and timeline fixed after discovery, with payments by milestone. For a marketing website, an online store or an app MVP.

Dedicated team

A squad reserved for your product, billed monthly. For marketplaces, platforms and products whose priorities change every week.

Maintenance & enhancements

Monitoring, fixes, updates and new features, with a report every month. For a product that’s already live, built by us or by someone else.

Running costs to plan for after launch

The development price isn’t the total cost of a product. These lines belong in your budget from day one — and in every quote you compare, ours included.

  • Hosting and servers, sized for your real traffic; our monthly reports track the cost
  • Apple and Google developer accounts, which we recommend opening in your company’s name
  • Payment fees, charged by the provider on every card transaction
  • Pay-as-you-go third-party services: maps, SMS, email, AI models
  • Domain name and business email addresses
  • Maintenance: fixes, security updates and keeping up with new iOS and Android versions

Market benchmark: the ranges published by deadLine

To put a quote in context, here are the ranges deadLine published in June 2026 in its guide to mobile app costs in Morocco. They are third-party market benchmarks, not VCTRUM’s prices.

Use them to check that an offer isn’t out of line, in either direction. They don’t tell you what a quote covers: compare scope, not totals.

How to get an accurate price for your project

  1. The two-minute brief

Project type, stage, target timing and budget. Our form offers brackets — under 10,000 MAD, 10,000 – 30,000, 30,000 – 100,000, 100,000 – 300,000, over 300,000 MAD — or “not sure yet”. Reply within 24 hours.

  2. The discovery call

Free, no commitment, in French, English or Arabic. An idea is enough to start; a non-disclosure agreement is signed before we get into the details.

  3. The detailed proposal

Scope, timeline and price, with several options if your budget calls for it.

  4. A fixed price

On a fixed-price project, the price and timeline are locked and payments follow the milestones. You know exactly what you’re buying.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to build a mobile app in Morocco?

At VCTRUM, from 30,000 MAD for an iOS and Android app built with React Native and Expo. An app with several audiences — customer, courier, merchant — costs more, because each audience gets its own app or portal, and the back office grows with them. For reference, deadLine publishes 40,000 to 80,000 MAD for an informational app and 180,000 to 400,000 MAD for a marketplace.

How much does a website cost in Morocco?

A marketing website starts at 3,500 MAD with us, typically over 4 to 8 weeks. The price goes up with the number of pages and languages, catalog admin and content work. An online store, with card or cash-on-delivery payments, is quoted per project.

Why do quotes vary so much between agencies?

Because they don’t cover the same work. Check line by line: back office included or not, app store publishing, payments integrated and tested, testing and documentation, ownership of the code and accounts, support after launch. A low quote that leaves those lines out rarely stays low.

Do I have to pay everything upfront?

No. On a fixed-price project, payments follow the project milestones. A dedicated team is billed monthly.

My budget is tight. What are my options?

That’s what the options are for: the detailed proposal can lay out several scenarios for your budget. We cut scope, not quality — an MVP focused on one audience, cash on delivery before cards, one language at launch — then deliver the rest in phases.

Do I own the code once the project is paid for?

Yes. You own 100% of the code, designs and intellectual property, with no lock-in. The handover includes documentation, access and training, so you can carry on with us or without us.
